Enemy Scouting Report - San Diego Wave

The Houston Dash are looking to bounce back after a crushing 1–0 loss to Orlando Pride in the final seconds of stoppage time last weekend. Now, they return home for Pride Night at Shell Energy Stadium to take on a strong San Diego Wave team.
San Diego has impressed in 2025 under new head coach Jonas Eidevall, playing a possession-heavy, attack-minded style. They control games through midfield and build patiently from the back, with goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan playing a key role in distribution.
The Dash will need to watch out for three dangerous attackers. Kimmi Ascanio has 4 goals this season and is a constant threat with her speed and energy. Adriana Leon brings veteran experience and has contributed 3 goals and an assist so far. Delphine Cascarino leads the team with 7 goal contributions and is one of the league’s top chance creators.
It’s a big test for Houston, who will need a strong response to keep their home fans energized and defend their home turf.
