HOUSTON DASH HEAD COACH FABRICE GAUTRAT

On the match:

"This was a very difficult opponent. Obviously, going down in the second half off a set piece wasn't ideal. But we know what is in our group and we know what we can do. We felt the players we brought on really changed the game. Really pleased, overall. I thought (Allysha) Chapman did really well against (Emma) Sears. So, there are a lot of positive performances for sure."

On the number of shots the teams combined for:

"We knew a lot of chances were going to get created in transition. Which it did, I'm actually pleased we were a little more on target than we have been. That was positive. We minimized their transition moments quite well."

On his message to Evelina Duljan:

"She just needs to keep having confidence. We know what she can do. For her, the biggest thing is believing in herself. There are things that she can do as a player that not many players, I would say, even on our team or in this league, can do. You saw it in her ability to just go 1v1, be shifty, create a moment and score. That's brilliant and speaks volumes."

On Jane Campbell’s performance:

"I'd probably say her best performance of the year since coming back from the break. She's had a real edge about her and she's showing not only that she belongs here but obviously potentially back also with the national team. Very pleased with her and she's been a great leader so far."

On extending the unbeaten streak:

"We got to get you know some wins at some point, but overall, we'll take it. We keep at it. But there's a lot of positives especially coming back. That's now what, four games out of five where we have come back late to score. So, a lot of positives for sure."

HOUSTON DASH GOALKEEPER JANE CAMPBELL

On the match:

"I thought it was a good game. Scrappy and not our prettiest game, for either team. We knew it was going to be a battle coming in here. Louisville's (Racing Louisville FC) on a tear. I'm really proud of the group's response. I'm happy for Eve (Evelina Duljan) to get her goal. That was a huge moment for us and really well deserved by her."

On containing Racing Louisville:

"In the second half, they (Racing Louisville) gained some momentum, they scored a good goal off a set piece. Taylor Flint is a dangerous target for them in general. That was hard being a little bit under siege, but once we scored a goal it was back to zeros. We just knew that momentum was going to go one way or the other. At that point, late in the game, it was good for us to get a point. Louisville came with tons of momentum and waves. We're all just trying to do our job and make some tackles. Our defense really locked down a lot of Louisville's players. I want to tip my hat off to them because my defenders have helped me out day-in and day-out. So, kudos to them."

On the backline:

"Over the summer break, we were all able to dig into each other and really learn each other's tendencies. It's a new group, new staff and this wasn't going to come together overnight, and it still isn't coming together yet. We're on a good roll right now, but we all know in the locker room we have so much more to give, show and prove. Especially for coach Fabrice (Gautrat), he's working tirelessly, and we need to make sure we perform for him and his staff as well. We're not peaking by any means, but in the summer, we learned more about coach Fabrice and the style he wants. Anytime we have continuity on the field, that's always going to help. Big shout out to the backline for sure, they're really stepping it up this second half of the season."

On the save against Courtney Petersen:

"I saw her (Courtney Petersen) at the top of the box; she took that touch. I was kicking myself like, no way she's going to shoot this thing. Sure enough she did. Good hit by her and fortunate I wear a size nine glove to get a tip on it."

HOUSTON DASH FORWARD EVELINA DULJAN

On the match:

"It was a hard game, but we knew that. We knew they (Racing Louisville FC) were going to be very rough and not go easy on us. We did well. We did the same thing. I'm happy we came out of here with one point."

On Fabrice Gautrat’s message to her today:

"To contribute and do as much as possible. Right now, we're down one goal, but that doesn't mean we can't score. He (Fabrice Gautrat) said to go in and do what do, what you're good at."

On her goal:

"I just knew whenever Yazmeen Ryan has the ball, I know something's dangerous going to happen. I just follow through on my run. I decided that for once, I'm actually going to shoot the ball. I usually try to cut it back or try to assist, but I shot the ball this time. Luckily it worked out."

On her celebration:

"One of the players that I follow a lot right now is Marcus Rashford. I think our journeys are pretty similar. I look up to him a lot. He had a celebration once with (Manchester) United, where he talked a lot about mental health, mentality and I just thought it fit. So, I did it."

On coming from behind again:

"We know that even though we're down a goal, that does not mean that the other team is going to win. We know we have what it takes to score or get three points. So, it's just like we've done it once. Why not do it again? For us, the game is never over."
