The Houston Dash return to Shell Energy Stadium tonight for their first league match at home in nearly two months. We asked our staff for their predictions on the contest between Houston and the North Carolina Courage.

Rudy - 2-1 Dash win
(Record: 4-9)

The Houston Dash didn’t back down against Bay FC last week, battling to earn a point in San Jose. Now, the question is whether they can find consistency. Playing at home in front of their fans could give them the boost they need to surpass a North Carolina side currently dealing with turmoil.

Dustyn - 2-1 Dash win
(Record: 5-8)

Houston showed grit in Saturday’s draw against Bay and now return home to take on a North Carolina team who just fired their head coach earlier this week. If there is going to be a playoff push it needs to start with picking up three points tonight.

Manny - 1-0 Dash win
(Record: 5-8)

The Dash have plenty of reasons to build on their performance against Bay FC, and it feels like they may have turned a corner at a crucial moment. Facing a North Carolina Courage side that just parted ways with its head coach, it’s unclear whether their opponent will find new energy or continue to struggle. Either way, this is the Dash’s chance to make a statement—and claim all three points.

Joey - 2-1 Dash win
(Record: 5-7)

The Dash looked like a competent team last time out against Bay FC in a 2-2 draw. North Carolina have been one of the most inconsistent teams this year, opening up a nice opportunity for the Dash to get some points at home. Anything but a win is a huge failure for this Dash team who are getting further away from the playoffs every week.

Diego - 2-1 Dash win
(Record: 4-7)

The Dash look to continue their post summer break stride after a gritty point against Bay FC. Despite losing in their previous head to head matchup against North Carolina, the Dash are in a solid spot to get some much needed points.
