The Houston Dash won a wild 4-3 match against Racing Louisville on Friday night. Let’s take a look at how everyone performed.

Starters

Jane Campbell - 6

Louisville scored three goals, two from the penalty spot. One of the penalties was a foul by Campbell when she took down an attacker. She did make one save and the team was able to pick her up by scoring four times.

Leah Klenke - 7

The rookie continues to impress. She even moved to center back late in the match when Lisa Boattin came on. Klenke’s passing wasn’t as accurate this game but she was big in helping the Dash get forward.

Paige Nielsen - 7.5

Nielsen had 14 defensive contributions, including a vital diving header to clear a Louisville cross into the box in the dying seconds of the match.

Malia Berkely - 7.5

The duo of Nielsen and Berkely has been a foundation for this Dash side. Racing’s second goal was a bit of a mess in the back but outside of that, Berkely and the defense limited Racing to just 8 shots total.

Avery Patterson - 7.5

Patterson was all over the right side of the field, on both ends. She’s one of the best, if not the best, right backs in the league and still may be underrated.

Kat Rader - 7

The rookie scored again, this time on a penalty kick. She did well to get into the box but only got 1 of her 5 shots on target (the PK).

Danielle Colaprico - 8

Colaprico assisted Van Zanten’s first goal and completed 86% of her passes. She also won 5 ground duels and her positioning were key in the Dash keeping their shape, with and without the ball.

Maggie Graham - 6.5

Like the center back duo, the partnership of Graham and Colaprico in midfield continues to grow and impress. This wasn’t Graham’s best game, she completed just 12 of 23 passes, but she remains an important piece in what the Dash do.

Linda Ullmark - 7.5

Ullmark had 3 shots and also created 3 chances. It’s wild that she doesn’t turn 20 years old until later this month. There are few teenagers in the world that can do what Ullmark does.

Kiki Van Zanten - 9

She scored another brace, but this was probably Van Zanten’s best game in a Dash uniform. She also created 6 chances and put in 5 defensive contributions. There’s a lot of season left but Van Zanten is playing at a MVP-caliber level early on.

Messiah Bright - 6

Bright got the start in place of the injured Makenzy Robbe but she was quiet on the night. The striker had just 34 touches in her 75 minutes on the pitch and only took 2 shots.

Substitutes

Sarah Puntigam - 7.5

Puntigam came on with the Dash leading 3-2 but ended up having to play the hero. She calmly stepped to the penalty spot deep into stoppage time and made no mistake to give Houston all 3 points.

Clarissa Larisey - 6

Larisey replaced Bright for the final 15 minutes and was also quiet. She had only 6 touches and didn’t get any shots away. If Robbe is out, one of Bright or Larisey is going to have to be able to step up and contribute.

Lisa Boattin - N/A

The Italian made her 2026 debut in the 86th minute.

Head Coach

Fabrice Gautrat - 8

The Dash know exactly how they want to play and that is a big testament to Gautrat and the coaching staff. The fact that they are playing so well after bringing in so many new players and playing very differently than they did in 2025 will have Gautrat as an early contender for NWSL Coach of the Year.
