Houston Dash vs Racing Louisville staff picks

The Houston Dash return to Shell Energy Stadium looking for another win at home. We asked our staff for their predictions on tonight’s match against Racing Louisville.
Rudy - 3-1 Dash win
(Record: 1-2)
The Dash played well in their last outing, and even though the unbeaten run came to an end. There’s a lot to take from the performance. I expect them to bounce back strongly against Racing Louisville, who currently sit near the bottom of the standings. Houston should be sharper in front of goal this time around. If they continue creating chances the way they did against Angel City, they’ll likely convert more of them and avoid leaving points on the table again.
Dustyn - 2-1 Dash win
(Record: 2-1)
These are the type of games the Dash should be handling if they want to be a contender this season. They took care of Boston in their home opener and now they get another team lower in the standings. This match should be the same. Louisville won at Shell Energy Stadium last season, so there is a bit of revenge in the cards for Houston as well.
Manny - 2-1 Dash win
(Record: 2-1)
After a tough loss to Angel City, the Dash will look to bounce back against a struggling Louisville side. Despite dealing with multiple injuries, Louisville remains competitive and knows how to grind out results. The Dash have the quality to win this comfortably, but their mindset will be key to ensuring they don’t drop points.
Joey - 2-2 draw
(Record: 1-0)
This is one of those games where the Dash should walk away with an easy win as Louisville have had an awful start to the year while Houston have had a fantastic start. But, we all know the Dash never seem to win these types of games. I’m predicting a late equalizer from Louisville to disappoint the Dash and the fans.
Diego - 3-1 Dash win
(Record: 2-1)
The Dash were brought back down to earth by a two-minute spell of brilliance from Angel City, and from speaking with players, it’s clear that result still stings. Expect a response, as the team looks to channel that frustration into maintaining their home energy and securing three points against an injury-hit Racing Louisville side.
