Dynamo and Dash player ratings released on EA FC 24
FIFA is no longer. Starting with this year’s game, which releases for pre-orders next week, EA Sports has rebranded their popular soccer video game as EA Sports FC 24. While the name has changed, the game remains mostly the same. The biggest change, for the massive amount of players who play Ultimate Team, is that women will now be included in that game mode. The NWSL was added in last season’s game, and now you can build an Ultimate Team of both men and women. So, get those Dynamo and Dash hybrid teams ready. How will they look? Here are the ratings for all the players.
Houston Dynamo
Goalkeepers
Steve Clark (70), Andrew Tarbell (63), Xavier Valdez (53)
Clark gets another silver card this year with Tarbell and Valdez as bronzes. It seems a bit harsh for Clark, who was a 71 last year, to be downgraded after the solid year he has had.
Defenders
Erik Sviatchenko (73), Teenage Hadebe (69), Franco Escobar (68), Daniel Steres (64), Chase Gasper (64), Ethan Bartlow (63), Griffin Dorsey (61), Tate Schmitt (61)
Let’s be honest here, they did Dorsey wrong. A 61?!? Sviatchenko remains the highest rated Dynamo defender with Hadebe and Escobar also getting silver cards. Sviatchenko was a gold last year but his demotion means the Dynamo have just won card on the highest tier now.
Midfielders
Hector Herrera (78), Artur (71), Adalberto Carrasquilla (70), Amine Bassi (68), Sebastian Kowalczyk (68), Ivan Franco (67), Luis Caicedo (66), Brad Smith (65), Corey Baird (64), Ifunanyachi Achara (59)
Baird is listed as a right mid and is 64 rated. Come on, EA! Herrera is the only gold card on the Dynamo this season, downgraded from an 80 in last year’s game. Yeah, I don’t get it either.
Forwards
Thor Ulfarsson (62)
Thor is the only player on the Dynamo in the game who has striker as their primary position. With Sebastian Ferreira now in Brazil and Baird as a right mid, you’ll probably want to find other options up front for your Ultimate Team. Which takes us to the Dash…
Houston Dash
Goalkeepers
Jane Campbell (84), Emily Alvarado (79), Ella Dederick (73), Devon Kerr (72), Savannah Madden (71)
All five goalkeepers on the Dash are higher rated than Steve Clark’s 70. Campbell as an 84 is one of the highest rated players in NWSL and should be a good GK for your starter squads.
Defenders
Katie Lind (82), Allysha Chapman (79), Ally Prisock (78), Caprice Dydasco (77), Natalie Jacobs (74), Courtney Petersen (74), Jyllissa Harris (67), Lindsi Jennings (65), Madelyn Desiano (64)
If you can’t tell yet, the NWSL players have some very good ratings in the game. The Dash have four gold defenders with Lind, Chapman, Prisock, and Dydasco, and Jacobs and Petersen just missing out.
Midfielders
Sophie Schmidt (83), Shea Groom (79), Marisa Viggiano (77), Emily Curran (74), Havan Solaun (73), Joelle Anderson (71), Cameron Tucker (70), Sophie Hirst (68)
The Dash have some more good midfield cards with Schmidt’s 83 one of the best in NWSL. Her pace is quite low, so use with caution. Houston has two more golds in Groom and Viggiano.
Forwards
Maria Sanchez (81), Nichelle Prince (79), Ebony Salmon (79), Diana Ordonez (79), Ryan Gareis (74), Makamae Gomera-Stevens (73), Michelle Alozie (72), Barbara Olivieri (68)
I’ve included the wingers in this group, where the Dynamo have four golds, including Ebony Salmon who has recently left to go back to England. Sanchez is going to be a really good card to use early on with her 85 pace and 81 dribbling and four-star skill moves. Michelle Alozie is a 72…really?!
