The Houston Dynamo are on the road again, looking to keep their good momentum going. We asked our staff for their predictions on tonight’s match against Real Salt Lake.
Cristian - 2-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 6-14)
The Dynamo have shown that playing on the road brings out their best. The tougher the challenge, the more they rise to meet it. Expect another hard-fought battle—one that could tilt in favor of the Orange.
Rudy - 2-2 draw
(Record: 8-12)
The Houston Dynamo are hitting their stride—finding rhythm, having fun, and finally putting goals on the board. But Real Salt Lake won’t be an easy opponent. The rivalry between these two clubs has only intensified with the number of matchups over the past three seasons. Expect a competitive battle filled with goals and very little to separate them.
Joey - 3-3 draw
(Record: 7-12)
Both teams are hot and are getting their dangerous attacking midfielders back from the Gold Cup. The Dynamo offense was on fire last week and should stack up well against an inconsistent RSL team. Expect some goals and a game that could go either way.
Dustyn - 2-1 Dynamo loss
(Record: 6-14)
Jack McGlynn is back but so is Diego Luna for Salt Lake. The start of the USMNT at the Gold Cup will look to make a big impression after putting up a dud in the Final. But, don’t count out Houston’s offense as they’re starting to show their teeth.
Manny - 1-0 Dynamo win
(Record 6-12)
After an impressive win over San Diego, the Dynamo have a real chance to keep the momentum going against a tough Real Salt Lake side. These matchups are often tight and hard-fought, but Houston looks poised to break through and pick up valuable points in the standings.
