The Houston Dynamo are back at home, looking to get back into the win column. We asked our staff for their predictions on tonight’s match against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Cristian - 2-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 6-15)

Even in the 1-0 loss to RSL, the Dynamo created chances and looked sharp. Back at home, they'll hope to finish those opportunities—especially with Jack McGlynn settling in after a full week back with the squad.

Rudy - 2-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 8-13)

The Houston Dynamo are getting better each week as both new and returning players build confidence and chemistry. No doubt, Vancouver is one of the top teams in the league, but the Dynamo will bring urgency and leave it all on the field to get the win tonight.

Joey - 5-3 Dynamo win
(Record: 7-13)

This matchup has had loads of goals over the past few seasons. Vancouver are coming into this game in poor defensive form while the Dynamo have been playing really well offensively. Even against RSL, where they were shut out, they created loads of real chances. It feels like they got all their poor finishing out of the way last weekend and are ready to score some goals.

Dustyn - 2-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 7-14)

The Vancouver carriage is turning back into a pumpkin. Sure, they’re still a good team but they punched above their weight earlier this season and are coming back down to earth,. Could I possibly use any more metaphors here?

Manny - 2-0 Dynamo loss
(Record 6-13)

After a frustrating loss on the road to RSL, the Dynamo return home with an even tougher task ahead against Vancouver. The Whitecaps have cooled off over the summer due to key absences from international duty, but with their stars back, they’re poised to get back on track. This might be too much for the Dynamo to handle.
