Three Players to Watch: Orlando City SC

As the Houston Dynamo prepare to face Orlando City SC this weekend, they’ll be up against a side that has no shortage of attacking quality. Orlando can hurt teams in different ways, and these three players are at the center of it.
Marco Pašalić
Pašalić has quickly made himself a name to watch in Orlando’s attack. As one of their top goal scorers, he brings a direct edge. He’s a player always looking to get forward and always looking to finish. Whether it’s finding space in the box or taking advantage of a quick moment, Pašalić plays with that striker’s instinct. Houston defenders will need to stay tight to from the opening whistle.
Martín Ojeda
Another major threat is Ojeda, who continues to be one of the most dangerous attacking players in Orlando’s squad. Ojeda can create, score, and dictate the tempo in the final third. He’s comfortable drifting into pockets of space and can punish teams both as a playmaker and a finisher. If he gets time on the ball, he can completely change the rhythm of the game.
Iván Angulo
Angulo brings pace and constant movement to Orlando’s midfield. He’s the kind of player that doesn’t stop running. He is constantly pressing, carrying the ball forward, and stretching defenses. Angulo’s ability to transition quickly from defense to attack makes him especially dangerous, and Houston will need to be sharp tracking his runs and limiting the space he can exploit.
