Welcome back to the Bayou City Soccer Podcast! This week, the guys break down Houston Dynamo’s tough 3-0 loss to Real Salt Lake in Sandy, Utah, as heavy rotation ahead of a huge matchup against Vancouver impacted the squad.
Houston bounced back in dramatic fashion with a home win over the league leaders in a match that had everything, including a red card to Vancouver’s goalkeeper and a scary collision that saw Diadie Samassékou leave by ambulance.
Next up, the Dynamo face St. Louis CITY SC in the U.S. Open Cup before wrapping up league play against the LA Galaxy ahead of the World Cup pause. Oh, and yes, Dynamo 2 is still undefeated.
