Orange & Blueprints: Playoffs Gone, New Era Ahead
Welcome to the Orange & Blueprints Podcast, your go-to spot for everything Houston Dash and women’s soccer in the Bayou City!
Manny and Diego discuss the Houston Dash falling out of playoff contention after Sunday's loss to the Washington Spirit. Houston needed to win its final four games and rely on several other teams dropping points, a near-impossible task. With the playoffs out of reach, the Dash will look to finish the season strong ahead of a new coaching era in 2027. Meanwhile, Kiki Van Zanten has signed a contract extension, keeping her in Houston through at least 2028. The NWSL is on pause for the international break, with Houston returning home when the season resumes on October 18.
And much more!
From roster chatter and league-wide storylines to big-picture Dash talk, we’ve got you covered. The new season is getting closer, and we’re excited to ride it with you every step of the way. Stick around for all things Houston Dash and women’s soccer, it’s shaping up to be a fun one.
