Under his leadership, the club has enjoyed sustained success, culminating in an NWSL championship. With Amorós stepping away temporarily for family reasons, assistant coach Shaun Harris has taken over on an interim basis.
Harris is no stranger to the role. He has worked alongside Amorós for years, dating back to their time together at Tottenham Hotspur, where they helped guide the club from the lower divisions to the Women's Super League. Given that continuity, there is little reason to expect a significant change in Gotham's style of play or a drop in performance while Harris is in charge.
