2025 in review

Alozie has been a bit of a Swiss Army knife during her time with the Dash. Under Fabrice Gautrat she settled in to more of a wing back when she would start and an attacking winger when she would come off the bench late in games. The Nigerian international is great at driving forward with the ball and getting into dangerous areas. Once she gets there, however, the end product has been lacking. If she can add key passes and assists to her game she could be one of the better wingers in the league.

Moment of the season

It was only a 7-minute cameo but Alozie came off the bench in New Jersey to stun Gotham FC with a stoppage-time winner. The goal showed off Alozie’s strengths as she ran onto a long ball, drove into the box, and finished calmly to give the Dash a big three points.

Looking forward

Alozie is under contract next season and will likely be back in a similar role for Fabrice Gautrat, coming off the bench to change games when needed. Alozie also started some games at right back late in the season, shifting Avery Patterson to left back. That is another lineup option for this season, but Lisa Boattin also looks to be a starter at left back.
