2026 in review
DeLisle joined the Dash before the 2026 season after spending two years in Sweden with IFK Norrkoping. She spent the majority of the year backing up captain Jane Campbell but was called into action twice.
She came in for the final eight minutes, plus stoppage time, of the Dash’s home contest against San Diego Wave in May. She conceded an equalizer late in the match after giving up a rebound in front of goal. DeLisle then started the next match against Angel City.
Moment of the season
One start and one win. Not a bad stat line. DeLisle made her only start of the season on May 23, filling in for the injured Campbell. She made two saves and the only goal she conceded was a penalty kick. The Dash got a stoppage time winner from Maggie Graham to make it a winning first start for DeLisle in goal.
Looking forward
DeLisle is out of contract and her future remains up in the air. The Dash also have goalkeeper Hillary Beall on the roster and she could take over as Campbell’s backup if Houston decides to go in that direction. If they want to try and re-sign DeLisle, she would come back next season to fight for the second-string goalkeeper position again. DeLisle could also seek other options, in North America or abroad, where she could be a starter. At 26 years old, DeLisle will have some options this offseason.
