HOUSTON DASH HEAD COACH FABRICE GAUTRAT

On the match:

"Obviously, disappointed with the result. I thought we did more than enough to at least get a point. I thought we had some quality chances and yeah, look good players make you pay. And you got a world class forward that's in the box for the rebound. We'll have to look at that. Overall, I think there were a lot of positives from the performance, just not the result."

On the offense:

"The positives are we are still creating a lot of chances. I thought we dominated a lot with the ball, causing a lot of issues in their press. I know we didn't get the result, but there's a lot to be proud about the performance."

On Natalie Hammond’s performance:

"Obviously, there were some moments in the first half where she could have been cleaner, but overall, she's grown into the game. She's showing that she could play in this league and really pleased with her. I thought her and Leah (Klenke) had a good partnership. So overall, really pleased for her second start."

On Miljana Ivanovic’s performance:

"She helped keep the ball a little bit higher up. Again, it's a pretty frantic game to come into. There were some positives from her performance, for sure. I think her cross to Clarissa (Larisey) was exceptional. On another day that's in the back of the net. There were some positives for sure and in games like this, where it's just those small moments that can really kind of just lean into the outcome."

On his message to the team:

"Jane (Campbell) said it really well at the end she said, 'look six points in three games is a positive.' So, if you can keep doing that. Getting wins, obviously, helps you tremendously and you start climbing up. We've climbed up quite a bit with just two wins. If we left here with a really bad performance, I'd be really doom and gloom. But I'm really optimistic and I'm really excited to get rest but hit the ground running next week, getting ready for Seattle."

HOUSTON DASH MIDFIELDER DANNY COLAPRICO

On the match:

"We're obviously disappointed with the result, especially the other team (Bay FC) scoring late. At the end of the day, we are on a good run, and we're really excited about that and where we're headed. We just need to focus on our next opponent and put this one behind us."

On coming back from this result:

"The special thing about this team is that we're really good at analyzing the film and learning from our mistakes. The game was in our hands tonight, and we kind of let it out of our hands. One little mistake and that can cost you. I feel like if we clean those little mistakes up, we'll be better off in the next game, but all eyes on our next opponent."

On the takeaways from this match:

"We've grown a lot in the past few games, and I think that the main positive I take away from this is that we can score and be dangerous in various different ways, whether it's in behind or playing through the lines. It's really hard to defend us. I feel like we're having opponents change their formation constantly throughout games, and that's the biggest takeaway from today. We're growing constantly in each game, and you can see that. There are little things that we have to clean up defensively to get us the result."

HOUSTON DASH DEFENDER LISA BOATTIN

On her growth in the backline:

"My teammates helped me a lot since I came to Houston and now when I play, it feels easy for me to be part of the team and be comfortable. We have amazing players and the younger players have been really impressive. We worked hard today. It's easy to be part of this team."
