The Houston Dash are on the road for a huge challenge against the undefeated Kansas City Current. We asked our staff for their predictions on tonight’s match.

Rudy - 3-1 Dash loss

The Houston Dash might be walking into a bar fight against the Kansas City Current—and they’re about to get rocked to sleep. KC is simply playing on another level, while the Dash are still trying to find their identity. With Avery Patterson and Natalie Jacobs out of the lineup, it will be a big test to keep up with the relentless pace and threat of Temwa Chawinga. I’m predicting a repeat of last week’s scoreline—another rough night for Houston.

Dustyn - 3-0 Dash loss
(Record: 2-2)

Kansas City is on another level, something the Dash hope to build to someday. However, that day is not today.

Manny - 3-1 Dash loss
(Record: 2-2)

As I mentioned on the podcast, the Current have only lost one game at home, which was against the eventual NWSL champions Orlando last season. KC is undefeated and causing terror to the league. The Dash are still trying to improve in these recent games, and it doesn’t help having key players out with injuries. The Current will give everything in this game to maintain their unbeaten streak.

Joey - 3-0 Dash loss
(Record: 1-2)

They are playing Kansas City on the road. The Current don’t lose at home while the Dash are coming off an awful performance.

Diego - 2-1 Dash loss
(Record: 1-2)

I see the Dash’s style of play improving, but when you’re up against the best team in the league it’s a little tough to see a rebuilding club notch a win.
