Houston got a big win last week, and we still saw them move a couple of players for cash, putting their faith in the future with a talented group of rookies. I like that approach, and with that momentum, I’m backing them to get a win in their first home game.

This Dash team is gritty. Boston is still trying to figure things out as an expansion team and I think Houston does just enough to grind out a win and come away with another three points early in the season.

Manny - 2-0 Dash win

Maintaining momentum is the focus, and the Dash have a great opportunity to do just that this weekend. Coming off a hard-fought win, they’ll be aiming to secure another three points against a Boston side already facing early challenges. With key players unavailable and still working to establish their identity, Boston presents a chance for Houston to capitalize and keep the momentum going.

Same prediction as last week. I see Boston’s lack of a bona fide identity as a major obstacle for the league’s newest side. Houston’s high press and counterattacking style, while not without flaws, at least provides a clear approach. But will that be enough?
