On the match:
"It was a tale of two halves, which was pretty obvious. I thought they were much better than us in the first half. We didn't read the pressing triggers well enough, and I thought we could have been able to hold them up. Obviously, they have some really dangerous attackers, and so they create a lot more chances in the first half. But I have to say, and I've said this before, you know, the second half is our MO, and I feel the way we came in and changed the game. I thought we were definitely the most dominant team in the second half. So, yeah, really proud of the group and how we fought back.”
On getting four points from three games at home:
"Every game has a different story. We are growing. We're really, really, really close. But I think again, a sign of a good team is to be able to score late, consistently, and that is a real positive. We're showing that. Obviously, the two out of the three games played some really good opposition. There's a lot to take away and we'll have to digest a few things, but yeah, overall good.”
On North Carolina next week:
“They're on a good run too. They're playing really, really well, so it's a big game for us in a lot of ways. Excited for the opportunity and excited for the matchup. The College Cup has been played there a lot of times. I actually was able to attend it, and so Cary is definitely nostalgic, right? I would say, just like a big venue in terms of just soccer history in our country. So, it will be a special place to play for sure.”

On the match:
“We have a lot of takeaways from this game (against the Kansas City Current), some good and some bad. It's important for us to take the good in it. We got a tie. We came back and scored, and that's always hard to do. So, that's good for us and good momentum moving forward. Now it's about how can we start fast and really put away our chances so we can get three points.”
On Kat Rader’s goal:
“It's huge. She (Kat Rader) has been awesome for us as a rookie coming in, she's been great. (She) works hard every day, and it's amazing to see that translate on the field, really see her excel, and really take that leadership, and step up to take that penalty for us to tie the game. It’s huge and we're all so proud of her. It’s good confidence and momentum for her moving forward as well.”
On building momentum:
“Momentum is huge in this league. It's a long season, so that's super important moving forward. We have a few away games next, so that'll be super important. But I mean, it's all about taking each game as it is and focusing on each game at hand so that we can really maximize and get three points.”

On the match:
“It’s huge for us to get a point. I think at this point in the season, every point counts. So obviously, to be able to tie the game up, huge props to Kat (Rader). She actually has ice in her veins. So, huge credit to her for being able to finish that one. We still haven't hit our ceiling and that's still to come for us. We’re growing with every game and learning with every result, whether that be tie, win or loss. We're taking today as a small win, but still hungry for more.”
On getting four points from three games at home:
“Four points to start the second half is huge. It's not only a testament to us, but a testament to our fans. The people showed up for us, and you could hear that, we never lost momentum throughout the game, and the band is awesome. The fans are relentless. It's a testament to us, but also to the fans.”
On North Carolina next week:
“Personally, for me and for all the girls that played in North Carolina and played at UNC (The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) and Duke (University), that's kind of a homecoming game for us. It's where a lot of our friends still reside post college, so we're going to have a big fan section, and we also have a couple of players on that team that played in Houston. It's going to be good to see the likes of Natalie Jacobs again. But our attitude going into that game is the same as all of the ones that we've just played. It's hungry and ready for more.”
