Houston Dynamo at Minnesota United staff picks

The Houston Dynamo are back in action tonight, looking to pick up three points on the road. We asked our staff for their predictions on the match against Minnesota United.

Cristian - 3-0 Dynamo win
(Record: 12-7)

Urgency, urgency, urgency. There are not a lot of games left and Minnesota is one of the easiest match ups the Orange will have in this last stretch. Can Lyle Foster show up big for the Dynamo?

Rudy - 2-2 draw
(Record: 5-15)

The Houston Dynamo need to get a positive result to kick off this final stretch. Every point matters, even if it’s just one. I think Houston will find a way to battle and grind out a draw against Minnesota.

Joey - 2-0 Dynamo win
(Record: 8-6)

The Dynamo have had a few weeks off to shake off the bad form they had before the international break. This was plenty of time to integrate new striker Lyle Foster, who I predict will score a brace in his first start for the team.

Dustyn - 1-1 draw
(Record: 6-14)

No Hector Herrera is a big loss for the Dynamo. Lyle Foster should get his first start and spark the offense. But, will it be enough for a team that has begun sputtering in the second half of the season.

Manny - 2-0 Dynamo win
(Record 7-11)

The Dynamo go into Minnesota looking to get back into playoff form. Minnesota have been on a 5 game losing streak and leak goals by the bunches. The Dynamo need to secure the backline and they will get the three points.

Juan - 0-0 draw
(Record 9-9)

Lyle Foster could eventually be the answer for Houston, but I’m not expecting miracles from him as he’s just getting integrated into the squad. The defense will be as good as advertised though. I expect a rough away day that sees Houston coming out with a point.

Dynastats - 2-1 Dynamo win
(Record 9-11)

With the Dynamo back to full fitness and Minnesota missing a couple key players, I predict the Dynamo to return to winning ways at Allianz Stadium against a lacklustre Minnesota team.
