The Houston Dynamo will try to take their momentum from last week's win with them to the West coast. We asked our staff for their predictions on tonight’s match against San Diego FC.

Cristian - 2-0 Dynamo loss
(Record: 6-13)

Even with a much-needed win at home, the Dynamo managed just one goal against a struggling St. Louis side. It's hard to see them coming away with a win against San Diego, a team that has established itself as a genuine contender this season.

Rudy - 3-1 Dynamo loss
(Record: 8-11)

The Houston Dynamo are coming off a much-needed win over St. Louis CITY, snapping their recent losing streak. However, their next challenge is a tough one, as they face a San Diego side that has been the class of the Western Conference, boasting quality across their entire starting lineup. In what will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs, the Dynamo are likely to face an uphill battle — and a tough loss seems probable.

Joey - 3-1 Dynamo loss
(Record: 7-11)

San Diego are one of the hottest teams in MLS and a lot of that was without star winger Hirving Lozano. He’s now back and faces a Dynamo team that is without Erik Sviatchenko yet again. This can get uglier than 3-1.

Dustyn - 3-0 Dynamo loss
(Record: 6-13)

San Diego may be an expansion team but they haven’t played like it. They are in first in the Western Conference and come into this match in great form, having won their last four and with just one loss since April.

Manny - 1-1 draw
(Record 6-11)

Despite a solid win over St. Louis, the Dynamo now face a tough challenge in San Diego FC. SDFC are a cohesive, well-organized side with multiple scoring threats and a strong team identity. Houston is capable of putting up a good fight, but in a match like this, a single careless mistake could be the difference between earning a draw or suffering a loss.
