On the result:
“We are thrilled with the three points. It was difficult in the first half. It took us a little time to adjust to what Kansas City was doing. We switched it up a bit tactically to try to get what the best out of the group that started today, and we were a little lopsided with the plans going into the halftime. They bailed us out a bit with the red card and then the second half was very professional, and I just really enjoyed watching the team deal perform in the second half."
On Guilherme’s performance:
“When he is touching the ball more, we are a better team and that was a little bit of the issue in the first half. But, you know, that is why we got Guilherme and Mateusz Bogusz. These guys are difference makers and can make plays like how Guilherme did tonight. He has been great and continues to help us add up points. I believe we have found a good place for him. Early in the season, it was really about finding the right partnerships and where he was going to thrive for us, so I believe we have found a nice little niche over the last two months of where he is going to be best for us. He is fitting in more and more with the team. He is evolving and getting better each week as he builds relationships and grows in confidence in this league."

“That it is going to be difficult. They may not be as high as we are on the table, but these games are always a little more difficult, especially away. We knew that – being a man down – they may drop a little more. That makes the game more difficult. There is less space to run in behind or through lines. But we played patiently and professionally. We waited for the right time to play the final pass and score some nice goals."
On keeping the pressure on late in the match:
“We kept high pressure, especially when they were a man down and when we do that – maybe we get rewarded, maybe we don't – but today it worked out. (Augustin) Bouzat scored a beautiful goal. It is just difficult for teams to build from there, when we keep pressuring them and forcing them to play long balls. That is in our DNA. That is Houston DNA. That is how we want to do it. That is just us. We are a hard-working team."
