The Houston Dynamo are back at Shell Energy Stadium needing a win in their home finale. We asked our staff for their predictions on tonight’s match against San Diego FC.

Cristian - 3-1 Dynamo loss
(Record: 9-21)

Houston will once again be without key pieces in crucial areas, while San Diego continue to ride the momentum of an impressive debut season. Home matches have also been a tough stretch for the Orange, adding to the challenge tonight.

Rudy - 2-1 Dynamo loss
(Record: 10-20)

The Houston Dynamo just can’t catch a break. There will be no Erik Sviatchenko tonight due to suspension and Jack McGlynn is out with an injury. Just when it seems like things are finally settling, something changes again. Meanwhile, San Diego is pushing for silverware. A loss in a packed stadium would sting.

Joey - 1-0 Dynamo win
(Record: 9-18)

San Diego have been coasting lately and are in the worst form they’ve been in this season. The Dynamo are desperate for a win and I think they do just that.

Dustyn - 2-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 9-21)

The Dynamo are missing some key pieces but their backs are against the wall. San Diego is in poor form and with a sold-out Shell Energy Stadum, this could be the chance for Houston to make things interesting ahead of decision day.

Manny - 3-0 Dynamo loss
(Record 8-20)

Houston has often found success against California teams, but this challenge may be too much for the Dynamo to overcome. With injuries and suspensions leaving major gaps in the lineup, earning a result at home will be difficult—especially against a San Diego side looking to stay atop the Western Conference.
