San Jose’s firepower up top is no joke, while the Dynamo have shown grit with late equalizers. But can Houston overpower a Quakes side fighting to protect their playoff spot? I don’t think so.

Rudy - 3-2 Dynamo win
(Record: 9-16)

Houston knows how important tonight’s win would be, and I believe they’ll get it done. It won’t come easy, though, as this match should go down to the final minutes—more like a featherweight boxing bout between the Quakes and Dynamo.

Joey - 3-0 Dynamo loss

If the Dynamo are going to make a statement and get back into the playoff picture they need to do it tonight. Nothing less than a win is acceptable and they should play like that in this match.

After last weekend’s draw against a strong Vancouver side, the Dynamo showed they can compete with anyone — but also remain vulnerable against any opponent. Given their struggles to keep a clean sheet for the past month and a half, I see this one ending in a draw.
