The Houston Dynamo are coming off being eliminated from the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup after losing in penalties against St. Louis CITY. Now, the team heads out west to take on the LA Galaxy in the last match before the league stops for the World Cup break. The Galaxy are starting to find themselves and pick up important points and would love for these three players to show up and help find success against Houston.

Gabriel Pec

Pec has been one of LA Galaxy’s most dangerous players lately, contributing goals and assists consistently while leading the team in attacking production. Dangerous in 1v1 situations and in transition, Pec can create problems quickly if given space to run at defenders.

Marco Reus

Reus remains the creative heartbeat of the Galaxy attack. His vision, movement, and passing ability allow him to control matches and create chances in dangerous areas. Houston’s midfield will need to stay compact and avoid giving him time on the ball.

Joseph Paintsil

Paintsil brings pace and directness to the Galaxy attack. His ability to stretch defenses and attack space behind the backline makes him a constant threat in transition. Houston will need to stay organized defensively to contain his speed and movement.
