Three Players to Watch: New England Revolution

The Houston Dynamo are on the road again, this time for a Saturday afternoon match up. Here are three New England Revolution players to keep an eye on in tomorrow’s game.

Carles Gil

The captain and former MLS MVP is the star man for New England. He leads the teams with seven goals in 2026 and has also pitched in three assists. His ability to create for himself, and others, remains among the best in all of Major League Soccer. He usually starts out centrally but can float from side to side behind the Revolution front line to find pockets of space and dangerous areas to exploit. The Dynamo defense will have their hands full with the Spaniard.

Dor Turgeman

The Israeli international is your typical “fox in the box” striker. He has four goals this season, and has scored in both of New England’s last two matches. His relationship with Gil continues improving and gives New England a very potent one-two in their attack.

Matt Turner

Turner left New England in 2022 for Arsenal in the English Premier League, but his European journey didn’t go as planned. He moved to Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace before signing with Lyon and making his way back to the Revolution on loan last summer. Turner lost the starting job internationally to Matt Freese but he is undoubtedly New England’s number one. He has four clean sheets this season and has conceded just 21 goals in 17 matches.
