2025 in review

Evelina was the eighth new addition to the Dash roster for the 2025 season. After her time with Juventus, in Italy, and as part of Orlando Pride’s championship squad in 2024, she joined Houston hoping to bring added competition to the forward line.

She had a slow start, mostly coming off the bench and showing flashes of her quality in limited minutes. It wasn’t until the middle of the season that she broke into the starting XI, where she began to demonstrate her ability to break down defenses with her pace and creativity.

Moment of the season

Her one goal this season showcased just how impactful she can be in crucial moments. In stoppage time of a match against Racing Louisville, where the Dash had trailed for most of the game, Yazmeen Ryan found Evelina on the edge of the box. With quick footwork, she slipped past the defense and, in a tight window, calmly slotted the ball home to score her first goal for the Dash and secure a vital draw.

Looking forward

Duljan’s contract expired at the end of the season and she will enter free agency. There is a chance she will re-sign with the Dash, as her unique skill set helps stretch defenses and open up the flanks late in games. Given her age and experience, she could be a valuable piece for the team’s long-term plans.
