The Houston Dash have added forward Khyah Harper on a free transfer from Gotham FC. The 23-year-old joins through the remainder of the 2026 season.
Harper made her NWSL debut in March of 2025 and has appeared in 17 regular season matches for Gotham. She was a part of the Gotham squad that won the 2024/25 Concacaf W Champions Cup, 2025 NWSL Championship, and 2026 NWSL Challenge Cup.
Before turning professional, Harper was the 2020-21 Gatorade Player of the Year after scoring 134 goals in high school. She then attended the University of Minnesota where she made 68 appearances.
Harper joins a Dash side still searching for help in the attacking third. She joins a forward gropu that includes Messiah Bright, Clarissa Larisey, Kiki Van Zanten, Kat Rader, and Kate Faasse. Houston also signed Serbian international Miljana Ivanović this summer but she has yet to make an appearance for the club.
