The Houston Dash picked up their first win after the summer break, beating Bay FC 1-0. Let’s take a look at how everyone performed.

Jane Campbell - 8.5

The difference-maker. Campbell made seven saves to keep Houston alive, especially as Bay FC applied pressure throughout the second half.

Allysha Chapman - 6.5

Solid defensively and helped keep Bay’s attack in check, though she didn’t contribute much going forward.

Leah Klenke - 7.5

Strong defensive performance and composed under pressure. Klenke helped limit Bay’s dangerous opportunities.

Paige Nielsen - 7

Steady at the back and battled through Bay’s pressure before coming off late.

Avery Patterson - 7.5

Active defensively and provided the assist on Ullmark’s winning goal. Patterson provided the big contribution when it mattered most.

Danielle Colaprico - 7

Worked hard in midfield, helping Houston compete defensively and maintain structure.

Maggie Graham - 6.5

Hard-working night in midfield, though Houston struggled to control the game for long stretches.

Linda Ullmark - 8

Worked hard all night and delivered when it mattered. Ullmark’s deflected winner in the first minute of second half stoppage time gave Houston all three points.

Kat Rader - 6.5

Put in the work but struggled to make a consistent impact in the attacking third.

Kiki Van Zanten - 6.5

Provided energy and pace but couldn’t find enough space to make a major attacking impact.

Kate Faasse - 6.5

Had some positive moments but struggled to consistently influence the attack.

Clarissa Larisey - 6

Added fresh legs but couldn’t make much of an impact offensively.

Sarah Puntigam - 6

Nearly scored, hitting both posts after coming on.

Sophie Schmidt - 5.5

Added experience and fresh legs but couldn’t fully slow Bay’s pressure.

Larisey brought pace and direct running but was unable to consistently create dangerous chances in the final third.

Head Coach

Fabrice Gautrat - 7

Gautrat set his team up well for a very even matchup. The substitutes didn’t necessarily stabilize the game, with Bay controlling much of the second half and forcing Campbell into a huge performance. Still, Lady Luck was on Houston’s side, and Ullmark’s late goal sealed all three points.
