The Houston Dash will look to snap their winless streak as they hit the road for Kansas City on Friday night. Here are three Current players to keep an eye on in the match.

Temwa Chawinga

The reigning NWSL MVP had a slow start to the season after an injury sidelined her early on. Since returning to the lineup, however, the Current have been unstoppable, with her serving as the heartbeat of their attack. She also scored her first hat trick for the club last weekend and enters this match in top form.

Debinha

The veteran Brazilian playmaker has turned back the clock, delivering performances reminiscent of her 2019 NWSL MVP campaign. While her tally of one goal and one assist may not immediately stand out, her impact on the match goes far beyond the stat sheet. She seamlessly connects the midfield to the attack, driving the team forward and creating dangerous opportunities. Croix Bethune

The surprise addition to an already stacked Kansas City side this offseason, Bethune endured a slow start while trying to carve out a role in a crowded midfield. However, following the international break, she has found her rhythm and quickly become the engine of this team, recording two goals and two assists so far this season. What makes her especially dangerous is her versatility in attack. She can threaten from outside the box or effortlessly deliver dangerous balls into space for her forwards.
