Today, the Major League Soccer Players Association has released player salary data for the first time in 2026. You can see all the salary data here. Let’s take a look at the Dynamo players and where the club is spending money. All salary figures are in guaranteed compensation.

You can check out our new roster page to see all of the info on salary, roster designations, and more. Our friend Dynastats has also built a great website that you can filter and search on.

Goalkeepers

Jonathan Bond - $809,704
Blake Gillingham - $88,025
Jimmy Maurer - $225,000

Logan Erb - $93,373

Bond got a big pay bump this season, his second in Houston. Gillingham and Erb are still on the rookie minimum, although Erb has a little more in his guaranteed contract. Maurer is making about what you would expect to pay a backup goalkeeper.

Defenders

Antonio Carlos - $832,676
Felipe Andrade - $252,500
Lucas Halter - $1,416,921
Reese Miller - $92,667
Franco Negri - $115,605
Agustin Resch - $88,025
Erik Sviatchenko - $925,000

Sam Vines - $912,500

Halter’s salary may surprise a lot of fans. He’s been injured most of this season but if he can return to health, he should be worth that as a pillar of the back line. Antonio Carlos and Sviatchenko are also high earners, along with Sam Vines, which is interesting. The other players make near minimum salary.

Midfielders

Ibrahim Aliyu - $576,379
Matthew Arana - $101,986
Artur - $958,379
Agustin Bouzat - $705,746
Lawrence Ennali - $574,250

Hector Herrera - $568,750
Duane Holmes - $628,000
Ondrej Lingr - $938,074
Jack McGlynn - $910,320
Sebastian Rodriguez - $96,675

Diadie Samassekou - $771,871

McGlynn got a huge pay bump. He was under $300k last season. Getting Herrera for less than $600k, for all he brings to the club, has to be the biggest steal on the roster. Artur and Lingr have DP level salaries that have been bought down with TAM.

Attackers

Exon Arzu - $117,998
Mateusz Bogusz - $2,521,048
Nick Markanich - $202,778

Toyosi Olusanya - $463,219
Ezequiel Ponce - $3,000,212
Guilherme - $1,925,230

The attack is where the Dynamo are spending most of their money with Bogusz, Ponce, and Guilherme making well over a million dollars. Ponce’s $3 million salary, without any league goals, will get people talking.
