2025 in review

The Polish attacker had just one goal and one assist this season in 1500 minutes of action. Kowalczyk always did the dirty work but for a team that needed offense, the Dynamo needed more from him. His passing was good but none of it was very dangerous or creating scoring chances. Like the Dynamo as a whole in 2025. Kowalczyk took a big dip in form in 2025. With the crowded group of attacking midfielders, Kowalczyk just never found his fit in this squad.

Moment of the season

Kowalczyk scored in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup win over Phoenix but his lone goal in the MLS season was this beautiful curler against Sporting Kansas City. The Dynamo ended up losing this game at home, something that happened far too often this season.

Looking forward

The Dynamo declined the option on Kowalczyk’s contract, ending his time in Houston. A return to Poland looks possible for the 27-year-old this winter.
