The Houston Dynamo are back at Shell Energy Stadium, looking to pick up points at home. We asked our staff for their predictions on tonight’s match against CF Montreal.
Cristian - 3-0 Dynamo win
(Record: 5-11)
The Dynamo are trending upward, playing quality soccer and growing more comfortable with each other each week. Montreal, on the other hand, are on a downward slide—and there’s little sign of that changing anytime soon.
Rudy - 2-0 Dynamo win
(Record: 6-10)
Expect Houston to come out recharged after two weeks of much-needed rest. With fresh legs and renewed focus, this is the perfect moment to make a statement against one of the league’s bottom teams. Stay locked in, stay aggressive, and most importantly—finish chances. I believe the Dynamo will rise to the occasion tonight.
Joey - 3-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 5-10)
The Dynamo have been playing really good soccer over the month of May and now finally have a chance to get some rest after looking tired against Kansas City. Montreal are just not a good team and have way too many weaknesses for the Dynamo to exploit.
Dustyn - 2-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 6-10)
This is a match the Dynamo have to win. They have struggled at home this season, for whatever reason, but are fully rested and taking on a very bad Montreal team that is missing a number of players. No excuses in this one.
Manny - 3-1 Dynamo win
(Record 5-10)
This should be a comfortable win for the Dynamo. Montreal has been one of the weakest teams in the Eastern Conference, and Houston needs to build confidence by taking care of matches like this with authority.
